I graduated with Masters from Italy and have been sketching, painting with water colors and oil and mix media for more then 15 years. As a kid i started scribbling and emptying crayons on paper, later it went on to splashing from brushes and ended up winning State and National competitions in Art”
“Kids are a pool of imagination. It is easy to let them doodle on paper with single lines, but the challenge is to sculpt their idea with techniques and teaching them the infinite strength of colors and forms. A butterfly is a elliptical form in the center tapering from top and bottom with two symmetrical wings on sides. But painting doesn’t end just by learning how to draw and color… it goes beyond. This is where I could help you to unlock your child’s creative side with splashing colors this summer!!!
Classes will be offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:00 P.M – 3:00 P.M. for $10 a class.
If your child is participating in camp they will have the opportunity to partake in these different technique classes.
Color Theory: We will be demonstrating the fundamental rules of colors, and then we implement these rules in a creative and fun learning environment.
Brush Strokes: Students will learn how to hold their bush correctly to achieve different techniques using multiple brushes. There will be step by step instructions for a preselected painting.
Shading/Tints with colors: Painters can learn how to make deep, luminous paintings using white and tints for accents. We will demonstrate step-by-step from a preselected painting format.
Style: There are many different ways of using paint to accomplish a different look. We will expose the students to different styles of painting. Each student will get a brief opportunity to try out different styles.
Tracing Technique: This technique is a easy and fun way to get an image you’ve always wanted to paint. It’s as easy as filling in the lines.
Just Painting: Using paper cut outs, we will show the student how easy it is to paint. We will have preselected painting that we will demonstrate step by step through out the class.
